Monthly Support Meetings
The meetings have stopped (as usual) for the summer, but will start again in the fall. For the 2010/2011 year, we will meet in Stoneham, and will begin at 7:30.
Swim & Gym
This has been very popular in years past, and has been very fun for the kids! The cost is $3/kid (under 3 is free), and is held at a local Boys & Girls’ Club every Wednesday from 1:15-3:00. It’s a time of using an indoor pool with a lifeguard, showers, locker room, and then about 1/2 hour of free play in their gym, using their equipment. If it’s nice out, we go outside and play on their playground equipment. The last S & G of the year will be on June 16.
Science Groups
One group for the younger set (ages 7-9), and one for the older (10-13). Both taught by Lynn, and take place in Malden.
Both are being held weekly on Thursday afternoons, at 1:00 and 3:00 and are an hour long. The only cost is paying for the textbook(s) and a small (about $7) lapbooking fee. Thanks, Lynn!
Knitting
Attention all mothers and daughters who knit or are trying to learn! This knitting night will be once a month, on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00, in Malden. These meetings will continue over the summer! Please RSVP to Adrienne, if you can come. In your RSVP, can you also say what snacks you can bring? It is potluck. This will continue throughout the summer. Thanks, Lynn, for hosting!
Petco Field Trip
May 24, 10:30-11:30. A field trip for Kindergarten through eighth grade. Totally free. This Fur, Feathers & Fins program “allows children to learn about the characteristics and habitats of fish, reptiles, birds, and small animals, and develop reading and science skills. They will learn animal respect and basic needs for animal care. Thank you, Lynn, for organizing this!

Adrienne LOVES quotes: “He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals His thoughts to man: He who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth - the LORD God Almighty is His name.
He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns blackness into dawn, and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out over the face of the land - the LORD God Almighty is His name.
He, the LORD Almighty, who touches the earth and it melts...He who builds His lofty palace in the heavens, and sets its foundation on the earth, who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out over the face of the land - the LORD is His name.
- Amos 4:13, 5:8, 9:5 & 6
