Ice Skating at the Burlington Ice Palace on March 10. OK, there were so many good photos (the kids are SO CUTE), that I couldn’t choose which one I liked best! Thanks for putting this together, Sue!

This was a VERY fun time of taking apart small items: a calculator, VCR, etc. The kids had SO much FUN!! They got to see saw how things work. Thank you so much, Lynn for hosting!


The second part of this was on a Saturday at Jennifer’s house (Thanks!), and was another great time, taking apart small appliances and was also a cookout.

The Rhythm workshop was on March 31 at the Stoneham Library, and was  led by a professional drum teacher, Libor Mahan of Axiom Drummer’s  Place. It was so great that many have requested that we do it again!



The kids played in time in a 4/4 beat!Unbelievable!

A day at Drumlin Farm (4/17)! We ate lunch there, and saw lots of animals and animal babies. Then the kids goofed around on this old tractor.

Double Dutch workshop in Woburn. It was a beautiful day, and kids were jump roping, and the younger ones were riding on scooters and playing. Did I say it was a beautiful day?? We had a great time! Thanks to Cristy, for setting this up, and to Sue for providing fun and snacks!

This was a great weekly get together, where the kids just built with legos. With no formal instruction and no cost, it was a free play/build time. The kids LOVED it!! Thanks, Kim for doing this every week.


Hunter’s Lego creation!

This was a great time of having a guide walk us through nature at Habitat (part of Audobon): $6.50 per child, but was SO worth it! This was fabulous, and the kids loved it and learned a lot. Thanks, Sue!

This trip was 5/09 to a working farm in Littleton, MA (Gilmerton Farm). The cost was $5/family, and has rare or endangered species of farm animals. How cool it was to see them and to run around with the baby goats! Thanks, Val!

Girls’ Club - for girls ages 9-12. They meet twice/month, and learn nature studies, botany,  and go on field trips. Thanks so much for doing this, Sue!

Knitting Night: about    once a month in Woburn. No cost. People’s experience and ability   vary. Hosted by Sue R., taught by Sue and Lynn.

Health & Beauty Talk: in July, 2009. Hosted by Jen T., given by Val.

Bear Hill Nursing Home: a group of us sang Christmas carols, visited with the residents, and enjoyed fellowship, juice and cookies afterward.

Presentation Club: the kids “presented” doing anything they wanted to.     It was very good for them, and taught some public speaking and listening conventions. Plus, the kids had fun and learned a lot!
